I highly doubt fogs and high beams are illegal (been wrong before), just counter productive. Fog lights work because the shine under the fog. Having the highs on will reduce visibility in fog, because the light reflects off the fog and into your eyes. Thats why most fogs will not run with the highs. But if you just like lots of light than its no problem, assuming you dont run them near other cars.. thats illegal.

well this is the story..

to turn in to my school you have to wait at a redlight orrrr if your like me and have a jeep right before the light you can drive off the road though a trail though a 3 ft mud puddle and straight into the parking lot. and no waiting at all! then you get to see everyones priceless face when you come out of the woods.
Haha, when i was in high school a couple years ago the school was being renovated so we had to move into this old crappy school and one of the student parking lots was basically dirt...except when it rained. It would get so muddy it was stupid, but I remember this kid in a Trooper trying to show off and he ended up getting stuck. We laughed at him.

Anyways, i drove the XJ today and hoped it would start when I left work.

some states/jurisdictions do state one may not drive with fogs and highs on, but from what ive seen it seems to be in the areas that are more so along the lines of also requiring smog testing and all that fun stuff. other places state a max number of forward facing white (and fog) lights. VA has it 4 forward lights

seeing as the "fog" lights are really auxiliary driving lights it just adds that nice extra side flood

driving it almost 240 miles tomorrow to go wheeling for the weekend on the iron range in gilbert, mn. staying at a friends cabin with my girlfriend, convoying up just 4 rigs though. will be back on sunday. hopefully its a good weekend!

Coming up to my neck of the woods I see! Have fun. Maybe I'll bump into your group out driving around. I have yet to bring my XJ there. And I live about 6 miles from it. Never anyone to go with. That and I need to fix the cracked header yet.

Keep an eye out for either of these Jeeps and it will be me.

As for what I did/ will do today, driving it around while running some errands.
