Tried drilling out my sway bar bolts, ended up burning up the clutch on my drill... fuuuu

I started on the torx side and have it about 3/8", with a 1/2" bit, so I'm thinking maybe thats deep enough where I can just air hammer it out.

Now if only I had an air hammer

Heat, PB and a BFH would have been easier

I can't get the damn hammer in there because of whatever that steering part is that gets in the way.

(yes, I have no clue on any of the steering parts names or what they do)

On another note: Should my lug nuts be hot to the touch after a drive?

No, your lug nuts should be warm at best, not searing hot...

Just sprayed a bunch of stuff with PB blaster, even though I probably won't be lifting for another month or so. You can't start the PB'ing too early can you!? I'm gonna try to every day until I lift...and all the bolts better come off then!

I get bored every week or so and spray every bolt I can see with wd-40 or penetrating oil for the heck of it. Just in case I want to remove them later, lol. I focus on the leaf bolts mostly.

Sounds pretty intense...

After spending a lot more time under my jeep the last month or so I've found lots of evidence that mud puddles left behind. EVERYTHING has dried mud on it.

haha yeah mine has caked mud under it to..

well this is the story..

to turn in to my school you have to wait at a redlight orrrr if your like me and have a jeep right before the light you can drive off the road though a trail though a 3 ft mud puddle and straight into the parking lot. and no waiting at all! then you get to see everyones priceless face when you come out of the woods.
