thanks dude, im excited as hell.

4.5" rough country 4.5" coils, full 3.5" brand new leaf packs, 1" shackle lift in back. gonna look odd with the 30s but i went to 4.5" because im getting a new front bumper after the lift and thatll evenly sag the suspension to about 4" which is just under sye territory.

Sounds good dude. Can't wait to see some pics after the lift. Going to run 32's or 33's after those mud terrains run down? Or sell them and go right for the big tires?

p.s. I want that freakin bumper and roof rack

Let me think, I got my new 2.5 to swap in, my ECM and wire harness for EFI had to get rid of the TBI. I got my new intake and a throttle body off of a 4.0 to put on the 2.5.

I soaked all the bolts with PB Blaster that will be removed to install the RE 3.5 Super ride lift. I took it for a ride and I got to a stop light and the Check Guages red light came on and the Temp read 260 and the XJ killed. I was a little shocked at first and since I know very little about jeeps let alone mechanics. I called a friend of mine and he said it had over heated and to pull over asap. I got instructions on how to put in a new thermostat. So off I went to Oriely auto parts and got a gasket, thermostat and some coolant. I went home and Installed my first thermostat. It was a breeze, Tested and no more overheating. I am so frickin happy. I can't believe it. I have some experience wrenching and I am guessing this is one of the easier things to do. It is only the begining to a long road of new experiences. WOW>>>>>>

thanks all.

4pointOH - plan on 33" A/Ts on soft 8s and re-gear both axles to 4.10s at the same time. hopefully the 30s will last until i get money for all that..haha. as for the bumper and roof rack, definitly some recomended mods. brings out the inner beast in the jeep.

99XJburton - price and the shop thats doing the lift has it at a very low price. i have to get it installed by a shop because i seriously have no time or air tools. the day of the lift, i drop off the jeep at 9a.m., have to go pick up some stuff and then might have to go to work and then pick it back up at the end of the day.

MBJR9 - thanks dude, any new progress on yours? after my bank account recovers from the lift, a new front bumper is in order.

Why not gear to 4.56? Edit: nevermind I forgot youve got a 5 speed.
