yeah, it has potential. needs whole front clip, brake lights aren't workin(hopin it's the bulbs), bumpers, fender flares, tailgate, little window for driver's door, shocks, 2wd to 4wd conversion, but it has big speakers behind the seats(been converted already to ones that move more then the suspension )that i don't think work and a faded to missing red paint that will be comin off as soon as possible, but it has potential.

Cool lol. About the brake lights, do you not have tail lights as well? Behind the drivers side tail there is a ground for the tailight harness. They often get corroded, take the bolt out, clean up that area, put it back together and rub some dielectric grease around the connection. I would do this even if your taillights are working. There is a bunch of strange grounds on MJs that fail often. Im on my phone write now, but type in "crusiers renix tips" into google and you should find some good information. Look for the comanche club link. As i typed that i just realized i dont know what year your truck is, if its 91 or 92 the renix tips wont apply.

I've found that soldering the ground wires to the respective grounds eliminates any possible chance of a 'bad' ground connection .

I finally put my virgin under the knife. It's only a small cut compared to some. But she's gotten more "molested" in the last month than her whole life lol

It started raining as I started into the rear, so that's getting finished this weekend.

Sent from an undisclosed location with auto guide.

This morning is completion day for Black Betty. A complete engine gasket kit has been installed. Swapping out the old dana 35 specific rims to some newer gray five spokes.

Intermittently in the recent past I have been experiencing a gas smell followed by a short sputter. Yesterday I had the gas smell and then it backfired up the intake and the smell went away, not at all unnerving BTW... After looking on here I am thinking that my pre-cat O2 sensors need to be replaced so I ordered a set of NTK's. Looks like it will be a cold weekend here for wrenching but it must be done. Maybe this will also bring my MPG's up from 13-14ish. (I'm not holding my breath on that one though)

Slow and steady! I live in the snow and ice 3/4 of the year. My LSD keeps me in good footing, but you have bigger tires than I do. Be careful, high speed ditch entrances aren't kind to body panels.
