Does anyone know anything about the rocker panel guards Rustys makes? The ones that like bolt onto the panel and are about 100 bucks? I don't do any rock crawling, I just want something there in case.

They are 1/8" steel so it will be stronger then the factory metal but not very much. They wont protect against damage that would mess with opening/closing the doors, its more for cosmetic protection.

That's kinda all I need. I've decided to go with a kind of expedition type build so that's all I need as far as rocker protection.

Today I turned on her heater for the first time in a while and then watched snow flurries falling. Not quite ready for winter yet, need more fall.

I made the assumption that one day you would make it a trail rig or a weekend wheeler never hurts to do it before any other mods and not have to worry about it later... But then it wouldn't do anything for that scratch above

Today will involve an oil change, new radio antenna, maybe a new alternator, and finding out if my coolant leak is a hose or the radiator.
?: Does a Wix 51515 fit without an adapter? I have seen guys suggest it, but the Wix I have on now is a different #.
