having the front locked does effect your turning radius, especially on a surface where you have a lot of traction. Few more three point turns on the trail. But the added traction is well worth it

I do get a bit on tight turns in the rocks or other high traction situations. The Aussie does "give" but it is a bit violent in nature and sound in low-lock. As 1990 said, its WELL worth the extra traction, and my turning radius is still far and away better than my buddies trail rigs with welded fronts.

Took my passenger side dana 44 knuckle off to weld on a crossover steering arm. Call me an idiot but you can weld cast steel with 7018 so im gonna do it. Also put some tj flares on the front. Still have rears to do.

I would love to wheel a rig with a front Aussie to see how it compares to my rear Aussie - mannerisms, "give", advantages, disadvantages, etc.........
