I haven't done anything today, or yesterday, but the day before I purchased my first jeep. Yep, I'm a new to Jeep XJ's, well new to any jeep all together. 9-17-13 I purchased an '89 Cherokee with 66k original miles. First plan is to do a tune up and get it running smooth, that's if the weather clears up.... it has rained everyday since I bought it and it's still sitting on the trailer. This site and all the info and pic's are awesome, glad I stumbled onto it

Welcome and that is a cool rig! Those miles are amazing. You'll have a long, fun time with it, also welcome to the addiction.

I went to JY today, picked up a 124 amp alternator, hood latch cross rod, bell crank, spring and both latches... $58.

Pinned it to win it!

I have to say the carnage wasnt as bad as I was expecting.

1 lower shock mount, 1 tire burped, and and the dirtiest my jeep has ever been.

Hill made and girl impressed

I painted my D rings red, don't know how I feel about it yet, replaced my antenna that the car wag ruined with a stumpy one and took those weird plastic things out of my front wheel wells because they were cradled and had holes and were a trap for dirt.
