Cleaned the heater core out. No wonder my heat was weak before.

Haha perhaps I shoulda made a video to show viscosity. Very thick, opaque brown sludge. Took 50/50 CLR/Water mix, compressed air, and water hose over and over and over to get it back to normal. Tremendous improvement though, scalding hot heat.

After I let the CLR do its work, when I did that first blow-out with compressed air it looked just like violent, explosive diarhea. I gagged a little haha.

BTW, price when purchased was lower, got mine for $190 shipped.

Got 'er mounted today. Fitment was great, only additional work was moving the horns up 1", had to trim inside fenders, had to remount the 4" round ball like doo-hickey from the back side of the OEM bumper.Throw in a handful of zip-ties for misc stuff.

Only issue was the steering box bolts. snapped 2 of em off with just a 3/8" ratchet no less. Had to remove the last one, remove the pot metal spacer bracket and use vice-grips to get the leftovers out. Note: They are "loc-tite"ed (blue) and a little heat went a long way. Replaced all of em with 7/16"x4" grade 8 bolts.

Put in some new plugs.
Changed thermostat, clutch fan and flushed cooling system.
Replaced rotted transmission mount that turned to jello.
Put in a yellow top optima.

That's a vacuum canister and allows you to switch your vents and have cruise control. You can also relocate it into the engine bay. I put mine by the blower motor.

It's an aluminum spacer, and the blue loc-tite is galvanic corrosion from dissimilar metals. It might as well have been loc-tite though. I got lucky on all 3 on a '92 XJ I pulled the steering box from today. Spacer was also ruined.

Want my spair long block?

Also my cruise control just died, can I replace the switch or is that not the cause? It seemed it was because it started getting harder to press then just died.

5.2 ZJ Pushing a dana 30 as far as it will go.

I have no way to get to CT to get it dude. Let alone the amount of money this just set me back. No idea what I'm going to do.
