Jeep has been sitting dead for a year or so now haven't been active on JF in quite some time, pulled head, pulled valves. exhaust valves were leaking bad on all cylinders. gonna pull motor, tranny, t-case, swap in, and build original drivetrain over time how I want. stroker time.

valve guids seem to be perfect for having 336,000 miles on them. first rebuild though so mic them and see if I should get new guides and valves.

motor building is a cake walk, only headache here is the funding. should have it all figured out in a few weeks. once the new temporary drivetrain is swapped in..

motor gets 4.2 crank, rods, bored .030 decked roller rockers hydraulic lifters, port and polish head, port match intake, bored tb
tranny rebuild, t-case rebuild, sye, ARB air lockers, chromo shafts. then she is done ready for everything I am willing to throw at it.

I hope you have, or start a build thread. I am really interested in doing the same to mine but haven't had any experience with a stroker before.

Rough day today, but i did manage to get the carpet in the truck, so all in all a good day i suppose. Insulation turned out great. No gaps, and fit very snuggly. Carpet was a total bear in everyway possible lol. Ended up cutting out too much by the stick and the t case lever. But ill patch it up, its not that bad im over it now. I was pissed when i realized it lol.

Now that's the truth. Mine has lost probably a third of it and is failing, but it really does keep most splash and roadwash out of the bottom of the engine bay.

I got my Upper Adjustable uppers and Axle bushings installed , and one lower adjustable installed I can say that my 10" travel bilstein is fully extended before my control arms bottom out so I guess I'll be getting 12" travel shocks and limiting straps . This Short Arm rig has some droop !

Believe my battery has randomly taken a dump. Barely has enough juice to start the Jeep, then it stutters around a bit to idle. Once its started everything is good tho, alternator holds voltmeter right at a happy medium.

Threw my battery on the charger today to boost it back up but it drained pretty quickly again. Cranked good for one start but when I got to town and went to crank it again it was showing under 10v on the gauge with engine shut off (normal with engine running). Battery is about 3 years old. Idk what happened to it, its an Everlast always cranked very strong and one day this.

End the game and buy an Optima.
