Not today but yesterday I replaced all my brake pads and replaced all my tie rod ends since they were all trashed.

Excellent scope, I've got a Leupold VX-1 4-12x40mm on my Rem 700 (ADL synthetic [predecessor to the SPS], 26" Barrel, .300 Win-Mag). I sighted it in after I got it (over 4 years ago now) and it hits inside the 1 st. ring every time (even after sitting a year+).

The "cheap" (Cabela's Alpha) scope it replaced would barely be on the paper after sitting for a few weeks.

I've got a buddy in the Corp that uses the mark 4 on his sps 300 win mag. Shooting at a grand in the Middle East over 3 tours, he claims to have only zeroed it once!! And I've heard multiple such claims since they came out. Can't wait but I'll have to save a bit for it. Lol optics are something you truly get what you pay for!!

The JCR finish welded and sanded. It's soaking up primer now, and will get finish coat tomorrow. The issues I had with it was after initially putting it all together it sat almost an inch below all the body lines. Way under the hatch, lights, and body lines of the fenders. I ended up chopping off the mounts (the flat plate that bolts to the body), and flipping them upside down. Bolted the plates in place, and shimmed the bumper up with all kinds of **** and tacking it back on. Now everything is nice and tight. I'll post up a pic when it's mounted.
