I think they might even been bigger than 40's, that truck was very popular on the interwebs a few years back. They look like maybe Michelin XML's or XZL's.

I put adj upper and lower ca's on my 3.5" lift. I've also had the opportunity to drive my buddys XJ w/ stock arms on a 3". His front end doesn't seem to reflex properly compared to mine. Anyway, good choice. You'll be happy you did it

Im in the market for some adjustable uppers to allow some caster adjustment and flatten my coil bucket at ride height, out of curiosity did you go with Teraflex's flex joints or bushing arms? Their bushing adjustables (no flex joint) seem pretty affordable, Im just trying to decide what brand to go with for the money.

I have the bushing arms I didn't want to spend a bunch on short arms since I still am considering going to mid arm or long arm.

I have all the "crap" on my Jeep like RCX trac bar and Rusty's control arms but I am poor. Knock on wood I wheel every weekend with no issues...well the RCX crap does suck cuz I have to continually adjust the trac bar. , the arms are pretty beefy IMO and cheap.

Perfect, I am in the same boat pretty much. I have been pretty happy with shortarm performance but dont wanna sink a wad into them in case I decide to go mid/long arm down the road. Where'd you buy the Teraflex uppers from?

I got them from hardcorexj on here. IIRC they were on his XJ when he bought his. (His XJ was a project rig for 4wd and Sport utility mag).

I bought my lowers from Teraflex since they are local to me.

Ohh ok I gotcha. I need to start keeping my eyes peeled for used stuff too, since this is one of those things thats not a must-have right now. I try to be thrifty when I can lol.
