Speaking of which, unfortunately my dads sick for dads day so I am gonna drag my black one home and start getting it ready for wheeling next weekend.

Thanks for the responses guys. I have some substantial rust that is pretty deep into the unibody. I may post up some pics for professional evaluation.

Took my lady and son out for some father's day wheeling on the local trails. Nothing too exciting, but it was beautiful out. Had to use 4hi once to steer out of a big rut a turtle was hiding out in . Almost smushed him.

Didn't make it, it's a RockHard4x4 bumper/carrier. But I did modify it for the tire to sit tight and body angled.

Good old rustoleum. Didn't do anything to either Xj lately lol

@joshharris98. I wouldn't bother with a waggy 44. Hp30 and lp44 isn't much of an upgrade IMO

Not today but the other day I sorta finished the stretch

shackles stick out a lot not to thrilled about it but well see how it works and I have some thoughts on how to fix it if it becomes a real problem.

Hmm , a boat on a boat trailer .

Yeah , that trailer is totally wrong .

Wrong color , that is . It doesn't match the truck or the boat . Get the rattle cans out , before the fashion cops see that .

I don't know what else you'd be referring to ...

Replaced my driver side window regulator and switch, fixed the 10ga ground and speaker wires (also ditched the tweeter harness and connectors). It's so nice having a proper working driver window, switches and front speakers.

Note the rachet straps holding it down. There are supposed to be pads for the boat to sit on and the hand winch holds the boat to the front of the trailer.

I have done my fair share of sketchy stuff so I am just pointing it out lol

Went to fill the front diff after letting the cover set for the afternoon and decided to weld control arm skids to the Lowers - my passenger side is getting pretty beat up and I need them to last until the fall.

It's nice to have very little to do except putter - no major projects, no failing components I'm worried about, nothing but a few months of wheeling ahead.
