Got my tires balanced today and now everything is smooth once again! No more wobble or highway vibes. The Jeep feels great!

Did the BBs stay in the tires ?

And , I'm curious to know how much weight they had to use to get them balanced .

The BBs made the low speed wobble worse so soI had them take them out. They used 8oz on one tire to balance it, the others only took 3 or 4 oz. They put weights on both sides of the tires but it is so much smoother now.

Started tearing down the internals of the 8.8. Loosened the cross pin retaining bolt to find it sheared in half inside the carrier.... Anyone got any bright ideas here?
The remaining part is still threaded and is somewhat loose. I got it to back out a few turns using a screwdriver, but it's ****ing up the threads in the carrier.
The only thing I can think of is veerry carefully trying a bolt extractor. Or cutting apart the end of the cross pin..

Honestly , you're the first that I have ever heard of that claims the BBs made things worse .

I'm glad you got it smoothed out . That's how it should be .

Yeah I was pretty surprised that they didn't work, I have heard so many good things about them. Perhaps my tires were just really out of whack.
