+1

'96-'99 0630 heads will work. You might need an adapter to help it all line up if you have Cali emissions. A guy on NAXJA sells the adapter piece. PM me if you can't find him since I have the info saved somewhere.... I think

'02-'06 0331 heads will work. They have the TUPY casting which is the improved casting and will bolt right up. What head gasket did you use? I doubt your Alabama head is cracked. I used a Felpro gasket on two different head swaps so far and they have worked well. Make sure you clean both mating surfaces really well, since that can impact how well the gasket holds up.

Head swaps are a pain, but doing them twice sucks even more.

Well that was fun, got the head pulled, and. Priced the intake manifold was broken at a port, but can't find any cracks in the head, or flaws in the gasket. Oh well. The machine shop will the truth.

Took the faded and peeling wiper cowl off and painted it with truck bed liner turned out pretty good. And found this sitting down town so had to check it out. If I get it I'll turn it into a pop up camper with full size tires to match the XJ. Like another member on here did.

Agreed. I didn't do anything to my jeep today. Watched my buds ride motocross at the fair though.

How much for the trailer? I looks like a good starting platform.

Slow? must be the late in the week burn out. All I did was drive to work and back.

Gotta fix the way the exhaust knocks the gas skid at times - slaps the side during acceleration.
Maybe this weekend. Also need to extend my sway bar links - have grade 10.9 threaded rod - will cut off my old piece I welded on and weld on the longer piece to reuse the rod ends.

When are you getting the head verified?

I called after I posted. He said $800 is bottom and it has good tires, pintnal hook and pressure brakes. It's worth that but wasn't looking to spend that much on one. I was wanting a 3/4 ton and this is a big 1-1/2 ton trailer. It's almost as big as my XJ. Lol
