I just finished pulling the tape after painting the flares and endcaps. I used the Krylon Fusion Satin. Looks pretty good, but a little glossy. I used the index card trick shown by a member here and it worked well. Much better after 7 years of fighting fade!

drove my jeep all the way to fayetville (170 miles) only to be called back to work.. what a waste of gas. But I did install some silverstars in my el-cheapo brand foglamps.. man those things are bright... tomorrow- cut and trim piece of galvanized steel to patch the one and only rust hole in my jeep... heheheh... that thing is NEVER rusting again...

For 35's, consider 4.88's or even 5.13's, if you don't do a lot of highway.

Installed my awesome patch job on the rear on my XJ's one and only rust problem... got to love a dremel tool and 1/8" thick galvanized metal. total price to fix-
7" by 12" sheet of steel from lowes= 5.96
box of self tapping 3/4" sheet metal screws- 2.00
can of rubberized undercoating- 9.87
tube of black RTV gasket maker (used the whole tube.... no way moisture is getting under my patch)- 1.50
total price= CHEAP!
next repair- find a replacement windshield for CHEAP!

replaced my hatch shocks - was getting tired of the vice grips. It was easier on my '88 - no little sliding clips that wanted to bend etc.
