Glad you're ok. Sucks about the XJ. You're gonna miss the AMC 2 door though...

Removed the Trans/ X-Fer case from my new 90 xj.

Rebuilt my old trans from my 88 xj with new seals and bushings, also got a new torque converter.

Removed the tires off the 90 xj and mounted my old 31" BFG AT, what a PITA it was getting the old tires off.

Stripped all the trim and badges off the 90 xj getting ready for primer in the next few days.

Whoa that was a long 14 hour day!!!

Tomorrow i hope to install the rebuilt trans in the 90 and get it running, so then i can get it primed and ready for paint.

Yeah, I miss my Almost a Car. I spent the last year taking it from beat to beater. And I had just finished rebuilding and installing a motor over the summer.

Oh well........ PARTS JEEP! It'll be time to fire up the plasma torch and salvage everything I can off it.

Mmmm... fresh rebuild hotness broken in and ready for when the engine in my new one goes.

I think I might save up for headers and grab a Ford 5.0 throttle body and injectors while I'm at it.

for shell thats impressive!!! its like 1.80ish here

“If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil — it’s cool.”

I installed some spacers and cut my fenders. Still need to clean up the rear fenders, but I was just too tired. What do ya'll think?

Installed my adjustable track bar only to find that its slightly too long. Oh well i just have to get some coil spacers, cause the front is lower than the rear anyways, then get a new shackle and hopefully get 1" lift all around after leveling it and adding a shackle. Put my horns back on only to discover they still dont work after getting the clockspring replaced. Checked the fuses and the horn fuse was blown, replaced it and the still dont work. The relay clicks but no sound other than that.
