went to wfcxleathernecks crib and got the exhaust patched. then he told me about this spot where they got the land owners permission to wheel so i tried out the KM2s a little. even at street pressure at 30psi they did great! not stuck once!

more in wheeling pics and in build thread

Maybe you have some major axle wrap to take care of...

Does anyone know alot about brakes? I have tried to put a post in the Tech, but it didnt get much traffic. I also tried search, but all the threads I have found about are leaks.

Heres my problem. Every once in awhile my pedal sinks and gets soft then the brake light comes on. I then have to pump the brakes to turn it off. I check my fluid, and I am fine. There is a hissing noise that comes from the brake pedal when I press it. Someone said this might be vacum related, but I'm at a loss as to how this works.

As to what I did to it. I'm about to go outside, and take my bottom airdam off, trim flares to match, and if I have time before work cut my bumper for better aproach.

Changed the oil and air filter today. Air filter is still pretty much brand new so I'll save it as an extra. Wednesday I have to change my front axle seal on the passenger side because I messed it up when I changed out the ball joints. Then friday I have a 400 mile trip home to Oregon for spring break and then wheeling the next day.

you have a vacuum leak . check your fluid to be sure. you probaly need to replace your vacuum booster.
Quote:
Partly depress the brake pedal, and while holding it in this position, start the engine. If the booster is operating properly, the brake pedal will move downward slightly. If no action is felt, the booster is not functioning. If the power unit is not giving enough assistance, check the engine vacuum. If engine vacuum is abnormally low (below 14 inches at idle), tune up the engine to raise the vacuum reading and again try the brakes. A steady hiss, when the brake pedal is depressed, indicates a vacuum leak, preventing proper operation of the booster. Vacuum failure, which results in a hard pedal, may be due to a faulty check valve, a collapsed vacuum hose to the intake manifold, or an internal leak in the power booster. A tight pedal linkage (insufficient pushrod clearance) will also result in a hard pedal. If this connection is free and the brakes still fail to release properly, the power booster must be replaced

wouldnt think I would have any problems under normal road conditions and light acceleration and ive hade it flexed out before and never had drive shaft issues.

the description sounds good, I'd def go for it. Looks like it might have already sold though because the posting expired.
