What 16" BFG's equal = to 31x10.5-15?

Hey all. Newbeee here in Chicago.

Just picked up a 2001 60th anniv with 77K. Truck is mint and I'm really excited. This mostly going to be a daily driver, but I want a bit more lift and tire. I have stock 16" wheels and which I would like to keep cuz I love the way they look. What BFG All Terrains will equal the same height and with in 16" as the 15" wheel size 31x10.5??

I am also looking for a 2" lift. I rather spend more and keep the comfort. I am thinking shackles and from shock spacer. Any recommendations?

Thanks and see your around.

check on line for a conversion chart, but a 245-75-16 should be close...or a 265 would be about 32x11.5...

Looks good man. I want mine to look just like in your pic. Please give me some details on your tire size and lift.

Thanks

Its a 3.5 inch lift. With 265/75/16's on the factory 60th wheels. Its a great toy/driver. We take it to the beach and stuff.

There isnt too much room for flex, but it hasnt rubbed anywhere except barely on the lower control arms when turn at full lock

If you looking at a lift. I'd suggest looking into the rubicon express 3.5 superflex kit with full leafs packs. Its a great lift. Its more costly than the other guys but RE is great stuff.

The 265/75/16 are about a big 31 inch tire. The fit nicely

Well welcomre aboard.

Mine are 265/75/16s. Maxxis Bighorns.

They measure 31.8x10.8(32x10.50)

A 245/75/16 is a 31x10.50 and most metric sized tires are closer to actual advertised height than 15" wheeled ones.

I'm running a 4" lift on mine and they rub the rear bumper end caps and front bumper caps also. Trimming them and calling it a day.

Welcome Bigonts, nick XJ

I also have 265/75/16 on my stock icons , and i rub everywhere with a 3" lift. nothing trimming wont cure though.

My .02 cents is if you want 31's or larger, i would save up for a lift. dont waste money on BB

reguardless of what you pick i hope you enjoy your new jeep.

Thanks for the tip 2k1xj. I do not want to go higher than 2". I guess I have to stay under 31". Mostly I'm just going for the look and do some minor off roading at Badlands, IN when I go 4-wheeling.
