I give up now the blower motor quit working.. it's 100 degrees here... I got 1400 in trade for it against a 2010 Rav4. This is the last jeep I ever buy. 120K and the thing is falling apart

Sorry for your loss, if you arent into off roading youre better off with the Toyota. More reliable, safer, better resale value and fuel economy. However I think you made a mistake with the Rav4 if the XJ was too small for you, should have held out for the Highlander!

It's damn near 14 years since it rolled into someone's driveway. Low mileage or not that's a lot of years. And it was probably under 20k sticker at the time even.
That said the drivetrain is rock solid in most jeeps.

But if you needed room why would you go Rav4? They are no larger than the jeep is. The new escape has more room.
