This was a really tough decision for me. Every one of these XJ's is very nice in their own right. I like a Jeep that can wheel and get it done in the mud and difficult terrain that is encountered during serious wheeling, that kinda swayed my decision. I looked for upgrades that improved durability and minimized the possibility of breakdown on the trail. My list was somewhat easy to narrow down to three top picks. Texan, Tom and Rockdrummer. As I scanned each entry I began to pick out things that I felt made two of those three stand out above all the rest. I narrowed it Texan and Rockdrummer. With long range durability in mind I finally settled on just one entry. Without knowing all the details about each entry there was one thing that stood out. The chromolly axles under Rockdrummer nosed it ahead of the competition.

So Rockdrummer it is for me.

Great group of XJ's this month. Nice work to all of you.

How about a little Cherokee love bump of the morning for the July COTM thread?
This poll is an incredible back and forth seesaw on a few different levels. Things are changed up every time I look. Who knows where it'll end.

If you've not checked out these keen Cherokees up for your viewing pleasure and logged your vote, you've still got a few more days to getter done. 77 votes so far and I'm sure there's yet a few more XJ aficionados cruising these halls. Post up and be counted!

badaBAM we are now stickied here, thanks!
101 votes as of this morning and they're still coming in. While this poll moves through the backstretch, the top two XJ's continue to battle it out neck to neck with a couple more starting to pull away from the field. It's a nail biter for sure this month.
