Since I am new here and visit to get help with my newly acquired XJ..I try not to post too much because I have mostly questions and the majority of the posts I read say something to the effect of..'what's wrong with you you idiot can't you use the search box? this question has been answered a million times over the last twenty years...blah blah blah!' So I scour the forum to find answers which sometimes is difficult...

I don't even know how to do the whole quote someone thing so I just copied and pasted a piece of the rules from above...combine that with the main forum guidelines of 'search first and often' then post..does that equal a low post count (sounds like a condition...we're sorry sir you have a low post count! )

Sorry! Great rigs to all entered. maybe someday mine too will be there...nah.

When your wife says " You love that Jeep more than me!", you know you're getting closer.

My superpowers indicate you are a bonafide genunine real legitimate forum member whose vote counts in this poll.
The rule quoted merely allows the ability to not count votes from forum accounts created solely for the purpose of voting in the poll.
Thanks for voting!

Well, the D30 is reinforced, I tend to tiptoe rather than hammer down, and just when I was getting ready to buy a set of 36" bias IROKS a guy put these on FB for almost $1000 less than the IROKS. I just couldn't help myself.

Working with cars is a little like a really awesome date: you start out expecting this to be something simple and straightforward; four hours later you're laying under her, panting and cursing, and things are a lot more complicated than you thought.

Pretty easy choice this time. How could you not vote for USN, just the amount of work and detail that's gone into that build is crazy.

un4gvn1 is a close second though. Probably the closest to what I'd do personally in a build. Would have gotten my vote if USN wasn't in this month.

My weakness for 4 doors and the semi-road friendly over-land appearance sent my vote towards EugeneTheTJ. That thing looks like it could cross Africa and get you to work on Monday morning. I just pondered, if I could drive any of those XJs everyday, which one would it be for me. Coming from an outdoors/camping back ground, I decided that the USN build is just a bit too clean, too perfect. Those are truly 1-of-a-kind builds he does, and his fire orange/yellow build I think is still one of the nicest looking XJs ever. I would never want to take away from the attention to detail he puts into those Jeeps. However, a certain amount of the XJs rugged character is lost under that amount of perfection. Which normally isn't a problem until you are asked to choose between different styles (like now!)

They are all beautiful Jeeps. I especially think there is a lot soul and personal touches built into the S8NNG8 build (reminds me of "built-not-bought", but I just have too strong of a preference towards 4 door XJs I think). Wish I could vote for them all.

P.S. If I embarked on ANY of those builds, I can guarantee that the divorce paperwork would be finalized long before I completed even 1/2 of the build. You folks deserve a lot of credit for the perseverance and vision for seeing these things through.

Things I keep around that help fix Jeeps:
AeroKroil and Fluid Film
BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool and Torque Pro OBD2 App for Android
Etekcity MSR-P600 Digital Multimeter
Bernzomatic TS4000 Trigger Start Torch + MAP Gas
1/2 inch sockets, Breaker, Cheater Pipe, and BFH
