Oh yea, I sold my 98 because it had spooky low oil pressure at hot idle, so this made me nervous at first. Glad it was just something simple, although the Jeep had a small puddle of oil under it after sitting at the office all day, it never really dripped much oil before I think but its hard to tell. Got all the common leak areas seeping oil, valve cover gasket and oil filter adapter both leaking. Must be the "Jeep thing."

Thanks! I keep putting off fixing the leaks, they arent awful just annoying. I take degreaser to everything every once in a while for good measure haha.

Also, got a little bored today and played with a photo of the Jeep. When I get my rockers burned in (one of these days) I plan on bedlining the lower 1/3 of the doors like Ive done to past Jeeps. I got playing around with an app and covered that area in grayscale to get a feel for the look.

After I did that, I remembered JeepN4KC had also done his quarters and front fenders, and I really like that look on his rig. Buuuut his is also a dark color so its a bit more subtle. Thought id apply that to my Jeep via a crude "squint your eyes and imagine" type of edit:

Im not so sure it looks as good on the red, but in a way I love it. I do like the idea though from utilitarian standpoint. Probably wont be doing this, but for ****s and gigs, Thoughts?

I'd continue the rear quarters around the front side of the flare. And do something with the square corners on the front fenders. JM2¢

I think it looks good.

I would black out the entire grill piece as well so the front quarters wrap to the front. Then, for symetry sake, angle the rear portion of the front quarters so it matches the look of the front portion of the rear quarters.

Lately I've been wishing my jeep was red

This is one of my favorite jeeps. I prefer this paint scheme
