Nooooo ****. Ive been so busy with work, and the woman has had me do all these Fall decorations around the house that the rocker replacement keeps getting put on the backburner.

Aside from that I just really havent felt like wrenching lately. Ive got so much I need to do but have been unable to find motivation. I just need to get something new and shiny in the mail to get motivated again I think.

Nice house & Jeep! Good luck with the decorations! My wife covers every flat surface every Fall & Winter with something. When she's done you can no longer eat at the table or even have a place to set down a cup of coffee.

OT: I ordered 4" Superlift springs from Summit, JY trip planned this week for S10/ Blazer leafs. Let the fun begin!

Thanks! It isnt real big but its pretty new and in a nice area. Working on cutting a trail back there in the woods down to a little creek.

I feel your pain on decorations, she had me hanging up goofy **** on the walls last night, I think she has a complex or something cause we completely move the furniture around every 2 weeks. Had me in the crawlspace moving satellite cables around last month to give her more "options to move stuff" lmao.

And good deal on the parts, you'll have to post up pics when you get progress! May the PB Blaster gods be with you on your journey.

Be thankful for what you've got. My wife decorates the house with mail, dirty clothes, and candy wrappers.

Yes!! Also trying "SeaFoam - Deep Creep"!

"Be thankful for what you've got. My wife decorates the house with mail, dirty clothes, and candy wrappers. "

The woman that lives with us is a hoader. Her room and the basement are packed to the roof. And I have a growing hatred of clutter. I do however make my own beer, so all is good!

OT: Brandon, are you still running the RE LCA's? I have read quite a bit about using the WJ LCA's but still have questions and the "Budget Build, WJ link doesn't work.

I wasnt complaining or anything, doing all that stuff keeps her in a good mood so I can wrench without gettin rushed. My 2 year old likes to decorate with dirty clothes, candy wrappers, and carefully placed pointy toys that hurt bare feet haha.

And @PeteNnewburg, my LCA's ate actually just RC fixed ones. I happened to snag them on a scratch and dent ordeal for pretty cheap to get me by. I didnt want to put a lot of money into short arms yet until I decided what I wanna do. They have managed to stay tight, but I am ready to put them in the trash. After a season of good wheeling Im really feeling their shortcomings. I need all adjustable uppers/lowers with flex joints. Will be going with MetalCloak if I stay shortarm.

As for the WJ arms, Im not 100% sure but I believe the WJ lowers eye to eye measurement is the same as stock, the only perk to them is the bend to prevent LCA rubbing for those running 31's with stock backspacing.

Kids are a blast! Grandkids are better!

Yes on the WJ's, better tire clearance reported. They also have a elongated/ oval shaped bushing for better ride quality. I thought about replacing the OE LCA mounts on the front axle with the ZJ style with the cam-bolt adjuster.

Probably my best bet would be to just get adjustable CA's and track bar, but I'm trying to keep costs down as much as possible.

You talking to Pete? Or me about the MetalCloak arms?

Any reasoning behind that? I know Currie's JJ's are pretty much the golden standard of flex joints, but Ive also heard good things about MetalCloaks Duroflex joints and I dont mind being the test dummy over here.

Why the mention of "XJ specific"? They are all interchangeable, had aftermarket XJ lowers on my old TJ. TJ's just have a few more options in products to choose from, some from companies (like MetalCloak) that dont offer other XJ products and choose not to market interchangable parts that way either.

Im still openminded on the decision though so if you have any more info as to why to go with one over the other, let me have it. I may go for Curries anyway to play it safe, who knows.
