Minimum money spending scenario, I run new 3" coils with an extra .75" spacer I have laying around. Either way looks like Im tearing the front end apart again.

I agree the 4.5"/35 combo is probably one of my favorite looks. But I need to stay on my build path lol. I plan to keep this XJ a while so all that stuff can come in time. Rome wasnt built in a day, as they say haha.

Lookin good!
That's not the first time I have seen the side molding taken off. That's first on my list of things to do in the springtime.

Thanks! Removing the molding real cleans up the look and shows off the beautiful square-ness of it haha.

On another note it appears my 1 year membership has run out. I really need to man up and buy a lifetime. Oh well, I need a new JF sticker anyway.

Not much going on lately, but Ive been informed that my tax return will be deposited into my account Thursday!

Most of it will be going to new tires for the wifes Trailblazer, things for the house, etc. However the Jeep will be getting some goodies to address some things that have been bothering me.

First off will be finally ordering a 4th Destination MT to complete my set, then order RE 3.5" coils and LCA's. The 3" coil spacers have served their purpose for me, but even though I havent had any issues, it just feels halfassed. I intend on keeping this Jeep, and staring in the wheel well at a big poly spacer drives me nuts. Got a buddy buying them so I wont be out anything on them. Aside from all that, I have a noticeable rake and I hate it. My leafs were in good shape and my add-a-leaf yielded a good amount of lift, more than I was expecting. From what I have seen, I think they will give me the stance I want when paired up with the RE3.5" coils.

Also, will be buying a small arc welder to keep over here at the house. Got a million little projects I need a welder for, and most arent worth driving to my buddys to use his. By it being here and more convenient, im hoping to get inspired a bit more to do some fab work here and there. Im just ready to have something done to this thing thats not a bolt-on ordeal.

With that said, I am not a fantastic welder. I will not be doing axle swaps. I still am not enough of a man to be at Pirate (haha). But, things like bumper builds, rockers, and whatever else needs done wont be out of the question. Ive never actually had a good bumper on any XJ and dammit its about time I do something. So basically what Im saying, more creative things to come. Just not sure what.

Yea, everyone seems to be happy with them. I just want to get my Jeep with the right stance and then Id like to start working on some fab projects. Really wanting to build some sliders so I can put a hilift to use on the trail.

Well, blew my build plans to hell today, but OHHH well. Saw it coming. Im officially starting to assemble parts to bump up to 4.5".

Caught a nice buy on RE 4.5" coils today so I went ahead and ordered coils and fixed LCA's. 77 bucks for the coils!!
