It's nice, I've just always disliked the color red on XJs for some reason, maybe because there's so many of them.

Yea I can understand that, red was not my first choice but it always has a nice pop to it when its clean, and its still light enough to hide tree branch pinstriping. But there are a TON of red XJ's, Ive had 3 myself lol.

Fedex pushed my delivery date to Saturday. So I might have to spend most of Saturday painting/installing that, then head to WBR that night, camp and wheel all day Sunday.

Im dying to get that thing on the Jeep tho.

Just received word that WBR has pushed the ride back to next weekend due to rain. Kind of a bummer but it gives me an extra week to get things all set so I guess its probably a good thing. I still gotta get the bumper in, paint and install, among other things.

I'd prime it and wait to paint it after the trip so you get an idea for what gets scratched.

Im just going to go ahead and prime it and coat it in bedliner, piss on the scratches. Now that Ive got more time though I may borrow a buddy's tubing bender to make a hoop with and weld on some light tabs.

Got it sorted out. Despite me specifically calling DBO to correct the shipping address, the bumper still got shipped to my dads house. Oh well, Im just happy its not lost. I will be picking it up tomorrow and getting to work.
