I mean I never drove it without a SYE so I can't say whether there is a difference in driving manners, but when I had it lifted and still had the stock shaft in there, it was at quite an angle and I didn't even wanna try. I was scared to drive it with my steering how it is as well cause of the angles. It's very loose as it is now. My dad said he will buy me steering and a bumper and maybe something else as my 2 years late graduation present.

I can ship the output shaft for whatever a large flat rate box costs. I think it will just fit.

I will let you know here shortly if I get some money saved up. I dont really get vibes but I do get a humming sound on the highway around 60mph, almost like a rattle. Im thinking it might just be my failing catalytic converter.

I was amazed how much noise is caused by the exhaust on my Jeep. I wouldn't doubt it. If you can feel the "noise" though it may be your driveshaft.

I think a H&T is sub 100. I would just go with the AA SYE though. it was 215 with shipping.

My list literally is growing faster than I can do it. I'm hoping for D60 front and d70 rear, 37-40"tires, 5.13 gears, and a 383 stroker swap. eventually a rear 4 link and front 3 link coilover conversion. first I gotta get frame stiffeners, bumpers, a new roof rack, steering overhauled completely, skid plates, Bedline the floor,m take the doors off.... god damn I've got the bug.

Once I meet him I'll let you know... Well I have met him but I Never talked to him about Jeeps cause we were at the gun show. He is building a LS2, tranny, and Tcase for one of my friends. And apparently he built some stuff for people in the King of the Hammers race. We'll see how he does with my steering!

Yeah the splines don't actually fit all the way into there so there is a lot more travel than it looks like.

So you ended up not using a xj or zj front driveshaft for the sye? I have the ax15 as well, thinking about the dirtbound sye/ hack n tap kit with an auto xj front driveshaft. I think its time for one because my slip yoke rubber boot isnt long enough to cover the slip yoke anymore.
