Wow! Scary stuff! I worry about a coil killing me every time I use my crappy napa coil compressors..

Screw coil compressors. . . Just flex the axle and slap them in ther uncompressed. That's what I do. It's simple and no chance of bodily injury, or death.

That is actually what I did. No coil compressors. But I needed to lift the front axle after I put it in to move the axle to be straight to start to put the control arm on. I know I did it backwards but my real fault was using a narrow base jack stand... When I moved the axle like 2 inches back ward it just pushed back.

Oh and in other news, the kit was delivered perfectly fine. I was sent the kit with the track bar lowering bracket even though I did not order or pay for... which I won't complain about.

That's why I use compressors even though they're a pain in the *** haha seems easier to have the arms in before the coil. I'm gunna look into some moog brand compressors. I've heard good things ha

How much longer til that thing is together??

Hopefully today, realistically, half way thru Saturday. My buddy got poison all over his body and has to take care of his sick girl friend so he can't help.

tis but a stones throw away! I got the hard parts done so it shouldn't be too much longer. I'll say sunday morning. today was a big setback with the rain. I soaked my clothes and worked through it. needless to say I got cold. Trying to find someone to help still.

Pull the sway bar and have someone stand on the end of the axle to push it down. If you have to unbolt one end of the track bar then try standing on the axle. This is what I did to get my 3in coils in and also used this for my friends 4in t-bird coils. Had to ratchet strap the axle in order to get the track bar to line back up however.

Good idea. I just put a jack under the opposite side to push the side I'm attempting to put the coil in pushes down far enough to just pop it in.

I pulled the track bar and that finally got it. I figured I had to pull it anyways to put the new one in and it worked fine.

Awesome!!! Yours may bolt back in easier however with my jeep on a lift with the suspension at full flex the axle moved enough that the track bar hole wasnt lined up and I couldnt get the axle to move without a ratchet strap. That wasnt the worst part, I crossthreaded the nut that the axle end of the track bar bolts into Keep up the good work.

I was in a hurry when I did my D44 swap, because I had to get thw XJ on a trailer and get it to PA, so I just slapped it under there. The axle was slid over to the passenger side. Just the other day I finally centered it and I used a ratchet strap too. Worked great and I couldn'f think of any other way to get it done.

The last time I did a track bar was on my brothers jeep and I disconnected the frame side (tires on and sitting flat) and I bounced up and down on the front bumper. Let the suspension settle and bam it was dead on. Might have got lucky but I don't know haha

**** chrysler and everything to do with the stock track bar. Thank god clayton sent me that track bar bracket. I had to cut the castle nut off to get it free then realised it still wouldn't come out so I had to take the bracket off. I was gonna wait on that till I took the axles off for gearing... I ran into a seemingly common problem of the track bar bracket bolt that is a god damn ****ing circle. who the **** had that idea!!!??? but anyways I got it off finally. and the new one is in and awaiting final adjustment and what not. It's sitting pretty in the front! My buddy is coming over with some air tools and is gonna help me with the rear, the SYE and the final adjustments
