I definitely recommend the autopals and the Hella 80/100W H4 bulbs. I would make your own wiring harness though... I haven't been too impressed with the putco harness so far. seems cheaply made. I'll try soldiering the connections and using some dielectric grease on everything and see how that does.

Got rid of my rusted to hell, rattling muffler last week. I went and got a piece of tail pipe and put it in place. It is straight piped now except the cat. It sounds pretty good i think. Not too loud either.

Here is a pic of the new exhaust. Pretty straight forward. Doesn't seem to get in the way of anything. and seems to give a little bit more clearance.

Here is where I drove today. Just was bored and i liked the way the road looked ahead . Love this area of Frederick.

I hear that you work in Hagerstown? Us local guys need to get together and go to big dogs or Rausch Creek or a Jeep Jamboree or something.

In other news... I will be wheeling tomorrow... sorta.

I live in Chambersburg and work in Hagerstown. I'll be looking to go wheeling as soon as I can get the XJ back on the road.

What can I say... We made a wrong turn! didn't get any pics of the jeep pulling it out unfortunately. When it rolled down the hill it's currently at the bottom of it ripped the fuel lines out so I can't drive it the rest of the way.

Nearly died putting my lift kit on today. It was one problem after another. No pics till I get done. Too much at risk.

Damn! Sorry to hear that. Post up on here the next time you run into a problem and maybe we can help you out. I know how that goes though. . . Nothing I do ever ends up being easy. I can manage turning a quick 5 min task into an entire afternoon of cussing, trips to the parts store, tool throwing, busted knuckles, and a pissed off wife.

If you have ever tried to compress a spring and had it shoot out to the side, essentially that is what happened when I put the first coil under. The axle was being jacked up and the spring was supposed to compress straight up. It decided to buckle, and the whole Jeep was pushed and toppled over backward. It literally came crashing down onto the ground and I had to watch it happen. It folded the jack stand with the gas tank and punctured a hole in it. luckily I was able to save most of my gas. Luckily nothing else broke. Most of all, luckily I was not underneath when it decided to fall. I definitely would not be here right now and probably would at least be in the hospital with broken legs.

Glad you came out of that debacle unscathed, Sounds like you might need to invet in a better jack and some jack stands.
