[QUOTE=KG8893;14843205]In other news... I took the Jeep on its first off road adventure. It drove over just about everything except one stump that my rear axle tube got hung up and my front was in about a foot deep muddy slop hole.

First off here are the diff covers newly painted since I said I'd put pics up...

Dude! What sway bar Disco's are these? are they home made ones>?

Looks good, reminds me of when I painted my diff covers. Looked great for the first day, then went through some mud...

I dunno how I didn't get them muddy with what I did in my woods. That was taken after the fact. That's why I decided to go with a more modest color too. It won't look so gross once they get a bit beat up and dirty.

Getting a quote on some tires. 35 12.5 15 goodyear MTR kevlars this time. The Duratracs are amazing but I overestimated the gearing a bit. I'll be putting them up for sale here soon. Also upgrading to these wheels while I am at it. Anyone want to buy my tires?

One cause too many people have an XJ with 4.5" of lift and 33s. I hate that... 2 cause the gearing I went with was for when I went up to 35s but I decided I'll just go up to them now since at the rate I drive it now, it will be years before I need new tires. Plus I want better rock tires.

Yeah, that was supposed to be " I want 35's". Not just a bunch of #'s. Speech to text sucks sometimes.

My engine is NOT screaming at 60mph. Maybe that's because I haven't driven the Jeep more than 10mph since getting the new axles under it and that was just to get it on the trailer to move to PA. The only time it is going to see pavement is going to be to/from trails, so I'm not worried about it. I have no issues doing 40-45 all the way up to Rausch Creek

The issue with mine is once I get a better commute it will hopefully be my daily driver. The stupid high RPMs at 55 are gonna bug me. That and the larger tires + lower RPMs will hopefully offset each other to avoid MPG dropping.

When was the last time you drove yours at all? I missed mine so badly when I didn't have it for a couple weeks.

Also I understood what you wrote before once I read it out loud
