UK 2000 4.0 Orvis

Just thought I would post some picture up of my UK XJ, it’s a 2000 4.0 Orvis. Few mods so far, see if you can spot them all

I love the 4 switch bezel where you put two fog lamp switches. I want to do that as well. I really love the extra wood grain on the orivis's too

can't find the 4-switch panels anymore. Discontinued several years ago, and they were selling for like $150 when anyone had them.

Design previews and mad kid pics on Instagram.

I wish my transfer case shifter was on the passenger side like that. Damn thing is always digging in my leg.

Thanks all. I love the jeep, and it was a bargain. i only paid £500 for it at current exchange rate that is $742 i have had to do some work on it though, some needed and some because i wanted to

So far I have

Debadge the whole car, and remove pin stripe
Limo tint from b pillar back
Modern headlight units
Cobra alarm
Kenwood radio (Keeping the infinity amp)
Cooper AT3 tyres
Replaced every fluid (thanks to this forum)
Coolant flush (thanks to this forum)
Remove and replace diff housings and replace with correct oil and lsd additive (thanks to this forum)
Correct spark plugs as previous owner put some platinum ones in (thanks to this forum)
New injectors are on order and should be here soon
3 electric fan conversion in next few months for more MPG

Things left to do
Fix driver’s side window motor, motor overheats when you take it down and wont go up again until cooled
Fix ac pipes as previous owner bent them when new radiator went in

And then i think a lift is in order lol

I'm still trying to figure out how you got the steering wheel over to the passengers side.
Good looking XJ there.

Didn't the Ovris XJ come with stick on hood louvers??? Similar to the hood louvers found on the 5.9 Grand Cherokee?

They did indeed, though they were much uglier than the 5.9 GCs. The 5.9 ones were also functional iirc.

You are correct, they do. However 4 days after getting my XJ I left it in a car park, came back and someone had used a screwdriver to prise them off!!!
