Is it too much?

I got some new flares, it seems my fenders are really cut high. They don't fit quite right. lol

Pretty redneck, I mean custom, but I guess they will work.

Could you tilt them down a bit, might look a little better if that would work.

My tires cleared the fenders by less than an inch on top before. The flares are actually about 1/2 lower on top as they are. I've given up on trying to make it look good. Tha's a lost cause.

There's a reason why I call it the Heep.

Because cut out flares don't look bad enough as it is.

I'm not even going to tell you that looks good to make you feel good.

That looks more than terrible. Hack the fenders some more so you can level those things out.

I don't mind the occasional rig that has cut outs as they only look good on select rigs. But those just look god awful tilted like that. Either buy new fenders or take them off and sell them. It is your rig and you can do want you want but those just make the jeep look funky.

Yes, do this.
I've seen worse, but it looks like you have the potential to make these look good.

I like the look of the fenders a lot and they look great on your XJ .... But the angle you have them at looks really bad.. I can see what you were thinking maybe .. kinda of like the metal cloak fenders .. which are the sweetest fenders out .. but the bushwackers are not made for that angle and look really bad like that ..

But your xj looks really nice and the bushwackers on your rig is a go! ...
