I guess I have, sorry. I don't have one so I'm not worried for myself. It's cool that you're on your way to fixing it instead of selling it

Seriously my heads have 158k miles on them and have been overheated at least three times since I've owned it and they are in basically perfect shape.

Oh dude, the chances of me parting it out were slim to none. It was just an option.

^^^ Awesome!

You've never been closer to getting that thing back in service.

I just swapped in some BrownDog poly mounts the other day. You'll like them.

Got the hoist together, stand set up, started painting certain parts and was lifting the engine when the mount started to bend so we dropped the engine back into the crate and took pictures of it. Cannot figure out why it bent, but I was borrowing it from an engineer at work, so I'm not sure what to do.

Right? Going to tell him about it today, I just hope the dude doesn't get pissed about it. The thing looks at least 10 years old so I'm thinking it's metal fatigue.

Talked to him, he didn't seem mad, apparently there ARE straps for it, and that he has to get them to me. Just going to heat it up and bend it back, then it's all business from there.

yah there should be another support arm or strap. It might even be a little stronger after you heat it up.

Just went through your whole build thread today. Sucks about the motor crapping out on you but once that new one is in she will be good to go for a long time.

Build looks great overall so far.

Yeah my buddy and I were confused as to why it didn't have any, but didn't imagine the guy not giving us something we absolutely needed so just went with it. I think that's why he wasn't mad.
