Front shocks are disconnected (connecting them in a moment), sway bar is disconnected, terrible bumpsteer.

ideas?
Bump steer often comes from a disparity in alignment between the track bar and drag link. Post a well-lit shot of the front steering and suspension components for us.

X2, you want your drag link and track bar running almost if not, completely parallel to one another.

Buddy looked at it, drag link is too short and it throwing everything else off. Gonna get it aligned then see if it still has bump steer.

This is the best idea ever.

Pics from the drivers view please? Does it block your view any? How is it with the hood open?

It's not too bad, doesn't get in my way any. Hood clearance is fine, just made the hood a bit heavier to open lol.

In all it's glory:

I need to do a few tweaking to the suspension (tightening bolts, etc), then putting on my fender flares, after that it's time to wait until warmer weather to start body work.

Rough Country didn't send me my upper sway bar link mounts.
Contacted them, getting them shipped 2 day for free, still not really happy about this, but at least they made it right.

We should be matching here in a few weeks, I got a safari snorkel!

I like that high-lift location.

Thanks man. I need quite a few more things done before I can consider going wheeling again Most notably tires.

Anyways, my upper sway bar brackets should be here today so my quick discos will be on this evening. Tomorrow I am getting her aligned (Still under warranty from sears when I first bought it, so it can be their nightmare).

Question: Do these XJs have the wiring for the overhead console already installed but hidden? The full service (ick) JY around here has a 00 limited that is in perfect shape, and I am considering grabbing at least the overhead console. If the interior on it wasn't tan I'd probably take the leather seats too.

On-board air
Winch bumper
Rear bumper (tax return)
Some skids (tax return possibly)

Re-wire all my lights etc
Possible dual batteries
