God this is my worst fear, a lifted jeep breaking steering/suspension components at speed. Glad it turned out okay. If you cant visibly see it, is it inside the steering box maybe?

How it's possible to fishtail an XJ at 15mph I'll never understand.

Working on a budget for this fix Luke, might be going v8 ZJ rod for now.

Edit: Track bar suggestions? I'd rather not get another RC one.

I mean, I'd like to have a 220 with gas, but my 110 with flux core works well for what I've done.

Hmm

Might go IRO track bar, and IRO tie rod.

Then get a durango box from the JY and a v8 ZJ draglink.

Thoughts on that set up?
(remember this is on a budget, if I didn't just spend 300 bucks I'd go JKS track bar and OTK steering)

Aren't the drag links the same? The tierod is whats beefier on the ZJ.

My draglink is bent, but yes I think they are the same.

ZJ is slightly thicker, though the difference is probably negligible.

Ah okay. I would just get both the draglink and tierod from the ZJ then. Save a bit of money. The tierod will be plenty strong IMO.

Yeah trying to keep the cost down so I can get the new track bar, and get one that's nice.

I like IRO but their track bar is basically the same as the RC one. I'd rather spend the 250 and get a huge JKS one.

And my budget is only like 400 at most for all of this ****. Ugh.

Whatever you do, go double shear. Clayton is the beefiest track bar I have seen and it is double shear.
