Electric, Cable or Other Selectable lockers (~800 each)

For something that is being built strictly as a DD/Overlander/Expedition Vehicle I'd rather have something selectable that I have more control over.

Ordered the Monstaliner for the interior (black) and a quart of blue to do the door jams.

ACOS bumpstops are out because my friend doesn't want to help me pull the coils (mostly because we are strapped for time as I have to start helping him with his new house soon).

Considering the quarter panel armor that Project1 has.

Probably.

Even then, only person I know with a tube bender is a friend's brother and he is currently building his own Samurai and moving houses, so it's not really an option atm.

Considered buying a welder and 2x6 stock and just replacing the rockers with that, but idunno.

Those look sharp. Like mentioned, expensive. However, depending in quality I'd pay for it because I hate bending tube. I'm pretty sure there's a company that sells just the bent part separately. Maybe if you bought some 2x6 and that separately it could save you some money.

Might consider doing this:

Buy a welder (HF)
Buy 2x6 stock to replace rockers with

Measure my front bumper and possibly buy pre-runner style tube already bent from JCR and welder that on as well.

Hmm.

2x6 is a smart choice, but if you want a rail use 2x4. And if you do it make damn sure to brace them. Ajsoffroad sells the rails real cheap already bent.

Yeah. You can make the support out of your tubing you use. Just make a template.

Shouldn't the contact point on the actual rail be square (ie: tube to square piece of plate) to better disperse the strain of anything that may hit it?
