Aware of this. I normally see it go from anywhere between 210 (moving) to 220 (idling for long periods).

Ideally I would like it to idle around ~205

I have had good luck with dielectric grease on connections, with louvers like these instead on holes its a little harder to draw water in. I want these so bad!!

Do Vents put them off to the sides.

And more cooling is good cooling

I was thinking ... I drilled holes for the cowl snorkel .. when i took it out there was a nice 3" hole in the cowl that is vented... I was thinking about putting a small 3" fan there so i could just flip the fan and it would suck out all the hot air under the hood and vent it out though the cowl ... might work well

I don't think a 3" fan would have enough juice to pull it all out.

I had camaro vents on my old xj and loved them, they worked great, I will probably put them on my new xj too..i will try to find a pic

They are off a Z28 I believe and also came on some Z24 caviliers. I bought them used so I am not entirely sure.
