I think you should leave the parts on it. If you sell just the parts, you'll get what, maybe half what you paid? If you leave them on, they are also worth the labor cost that someone would have to pay to install the parts or the time and effort of doing it himself. I was specifically looking for already lifted XJs until I found a nice stock one last week.

not quite on your origional path, but why sell it late winter? People who need a 4x4 station wagon for the winter won't need one in the spring. 4x4 values jump up in the fall and early winter.
It's all about the $$ and that will be Feb/Mar., ya know, tax refund. I am trying to work it so my wife's car, my XJ is paid off and then buy an early model TJ straight cash. Not to mention saving a fair chunk of cash every month not having car/XJ payments.
i was think you could change it to dream crusher hahaha
Well, my heart has been with a SWB Jeep ever since my dad bought an '81 CJ and has had 3 other SWB Jeeps since that one. I pretty much bought the XJ on a whim because I wanted a Jeep, have a kid, XJ had 4-doors, more practical, blah, blah, blah......, but my son will be 3 next month, easier to get into the car seat and what not. Even though I may get a TJ, I would like to have an XJ around. The way my luck seems to go, I want that 3rd vehicle for that "just in case" factor.
