Thinking of getting a roof basket - anything i should know

Thinking of throwing a thule moab on my 01xj.

I have heard of wind noise. I am not sure how much that will effect me - but I also may be underestimating it.

Is there anything I should consider?

Any reason not to do it? I do feel that I should disclose that I have minimal functional purpose but still I like it.

Thanks

I run a pretty light one and all i can say is slight wind noise on the interstate? i dont even notice now. they can affect your gas mileage by like a mpg if thats something you care about. I like having it for big stuff and think they look cool too

Like previously stated, it will hit your mpg. It killed mine on the hwy by about 1.5. My buddy's 4Runner was hit by about 2 mpg.
