At first I wasn't too fond of the streetlock look on my wheels because I liked the soft 8's and d-windows better, but they grew on me.

What sucks about the streetlocks, mine and the M/T's, is that water gets stuck between the wheel and outer ring. It just makes a little pond in the wheel. After I went wheeling, a lot of mud was stuck in there and threw my wheels off balance, giving me some crazy wobble until I cleaned them out.

hey man, wait until i get some d-windows before they end up becoming the new soft 8s..haha. just get em covered in some mud and they will look better. dont know about your state, but you should check into the law on wheels. beadlocks are illegal here in minnesota.

IMO fake beadlocks are dumb. Gives me the whole mall crawler vibe. Personally, I think stock wheels (any jeep) with over-sized tires look awesome. I would love to get ahold of some AEV pintler wheels, though.

I've never been fond of the soft 8, but they are cheap and with some paint I can live with them. Other wheels I like less are old style wagon wheels(which the D windows remind me of), and fake beadlocks. I wouldnt replace my soft 8's unless I had too, which leaves me money for others things needed for my junk.

AEV does have some sweet wheels, but i cant spend that much on wheels. I think my xj would look good with ravines too

Very true. Im just brainstorming, but I just dont think my jeep and soft 8s look as good as i used to. Maybe some silver v-5s or D windows, but if i change em out im not going back to black. Now that i think about it. V-5 on a 33 BFG MT would look awesome. Im probably going to get new tires next summer, and ill be upping to 33s.

I think flat grey V5 would look great, but you can't get them in 4.5" backspacing unless you go to 16", so I'm sticking with stock TJ steelies
If I could just find some flat grey paint

ravines would be sweet. or even moabs, but then youd need new tires.

Completely stock, and keeping it that way...
