Possible new ride.

Today I checked out a 99, test-drove it . Wow what a ride , looks really clean so im gonna send it over to my mechanic and if everything checks out I'll be a XJ owner by tommorow. Im sooooo exited , major step up from my 89 YJ.

Congrats! I wouldnt mind trying out a yj but to be honest i dont think itd be up to par with an xj. Or maybe im soo use to owning a xj that im too use to it but between then room and power its perfect. Not to mention everytime i hit the key and drive it i have 100% confidence that its gonna get me to where i need to be. The 97-99's are a good year but i cant say much since every year ive owned has been the older 87-96's which i dont mind but if gotten the chance of owning a newer style i might consider it... any plans??

Pics will come and a build thread in a few weeks. I just hate making a file for 2 or 3 pics.

Probably a 3-4 inch lift, disconnects, onboard air, custom bumpers and my 31's wich I cant put on yet till the lift sometime this spring. Gonna try to get it paid off ASAP for now but I love it.
Here's some specs 99 cherokee sport , 3.73 gears, 8.25 rear , Forest Green and grey interior 225/15's , stock as a rock for now.
Next month I'll wire in a trailer light connector so I can tow my teardrop trailer in the desert somewhere. early october should be its first trip.

I pulled the trigger on one today!

I couldn't be happier, I'm all set for winter now.

Anyone know what color this is?

Thats just how mine looks but Forest Green w/ chrome wheels.
Nice lookin ride .

Today I washed the rig and the dirty engine , did a better detail job to it.
Looks great. Also put my tinted headlight covers on I had from the YJ .
I actualy went through the owners manual front to back. Good stuff.
