I'm a high school kid too and I got my jeep from a family member. Just a Little strange but anyways I was stuck between a 3 or 4.5 lift and I was so happy I went with the 4.5. It just beefs it up and makes it look tougher the a 3. Mine has a 4.5 and 31s and I'm happy. Im So glad i went bigger I would have regretted it if I went with the 3

Mines a rustys 4.5 lift hit with new leafs

Ah. Getting cheap Jeeps is always nice. I'm doing a 3" lift simply because I think lower rigs with bigger tires looks better. To each their own, of course.

Look at what I did!

Found some rocks...

Surprisingly, the crappy jack under the seat helped get me out (oddly enough).

Only dragged the pumpkin a little bit...

Of course, I had a friend in a Dakota try to get me out, but he got stuck on wet grass. Finally rocked myself out, then got him out. On our way out, we saw a ******* kid in a Jetta backing out of the trail with his front bumper falling off.

I think I'm going to be ordering my lift and tires tomorrow.

Got all my parts ready except my SYE (should be here Monday) and trackbar (waiting on RK for that one...they're taking FOREVER). Throwing the lift on next weekend!

Got the Jeep lifted right in time to get my friend out of the mud...

With the lift and old tires...

With new tires and flares off...

On the way to saving my friend...

How he was waiting for me

Brought to the local marching band car wash (at which I worked a bit) to have it cleaned (mostly by my friend's little brother in the picture)

How she sits at the moment. Just need to trim the fenders and I'll be good to go!

Calm yourself. :P I painted them last night with this cheap paint my dad gave me. Sort of holding up in the rain. I'll have pictures later tonight (gotta go to prom).

Control arm drops are fine, I meant don't build a js jeep if you're new to modding jeeps as they are a lot more work and fine tuning.
