I've posted several threads on here about trying to get my XJ running right, etc.
Finally figured out why I had no compression on #2, and it was a cracked head, even though I had no loss of oil or coolant. Then we dug deeper, lifters were bad, and there were actually pieces missing on the cam lobes. Once we got down there, the crank also needed to be sent off.
So here we are, a month later, finally putting it all back together. So much for a simple engine rebuild kit.
When it's all said and done I'll have a brand new engine:
-Rings, gaskets, seals, etc

I'll keep this thread updated day by day. I Also have a 3" lift I'm going to be putting on fairly soon.
