Hey, this is Minnesota, eh! You never know when it might snow !

Honestly, the two times I went and played up at my buddies cabin all I brought was a tow strap. Too lazy to get organized and bring anything else.

-"Mini" Maglight

-Rags
-Fluids
-Basic Socket Tool set w/ extra screw driver and bits

I know I'm forgetting a bunch....

Oh and I rarely "wheel" this comanche...

I guess we just have no faith in our rigs Heavy. I don't know about them, but like you, I like knowing that I'll be able to get home at the end of a day of wheeling......

I need something better for carrying the larger parts like the 3 axle shafts, front shaft and stuff. Using a few garbage bags and duct tape isnt cutting it any more... I also need more stuff... like tire plugs, U joints, stuff others always end up needing on the trail if not myself. I dont always take everything, depends on where Im going and who Im going with. Wheeling with some folks in this thread would only require a light loadout

Since someone mentioned bottle jacks, what's a good one that goes high enough for an XJ?? I bought one of these but I realized that 16" height isn't enough to even use on the frame rails on a stock XJ, and with bigger tires is useless for the axles. Is it necessary to go up to a huge 12 ton jack?
