slow build thread

im starting a build thread, it will be slow but i already got a start on it. what else should i get for it? i have a 2" lift for it i gotta put on still, and i have about $500 i can spend on some other stuff too.

heres a pic of when i first got it.

with the black steelie d windows i scooped up on craigslist for $275 wrapped in some almost new 30" mud kings.

pretty much the only wheelin pic i have of it for now.. i will get more soon though hopefully, tell me what you think? ill put up some better pics of it later.

Take that $500 and get some armor and recovery to start.

carr lightbar sold at quadratec is pretty cheap compared to others, and people seem to have no problems with them aside from needing to trim down the sides of it for installation.

yea i seen that one, maybe if i get that for $87 i think it was, then i could buy a flowmaster 40 or 44, cheap lights, skids, and discos. does that sound like a pretty good start for my rig or should i go with something else?
Thanks

I would spend 20 bucks on some krylon fusion and paint the flares and bumper caps along with the trim. That would make it look very nice.

It's not bad, I always have the windows down though. But its not really too noticeable about 1800 rpm. So on the highway its fine.

Yea i plan on doing that, i know a local guy that said he'll give me some flares he took off his xj so i'm waiting to do that until i get those. He's giving me his because i popped one half way off when i was out wheeling and it flew off when i was doing 60mph and got all scratched up and cracked...
