I'm sure planning on it. I hope to have the Yj ready by then but I'm being optimistic.

Temps came up a bit so I gave Ruby a bath and put on my new front tow hooks. Also bedlinered all the fender flares.

Got me some new lower control arms for $25! Skyjacker brand with greasable poly bushings. I'll put these in when the weather gets warmer and I can extend the brake lines.

Looks great with black flares, and I feel for you on the heater core thing, that looks like a nightmare.

Heater core is a terrible job to do. I might have to take it apart again. Here I think one of the doors is stuck open so it blows mostly out of the dash vents. Almost no defrost or floor heat. Does anyone have any clear pics of a chili pepper xj with the black front grill and red bumper? All the one's I see have the bumper painted too.

Just did the black bedlinered grill. Got one off my cousin's friend's wrecked xj. Not sure if I like it or not.

Tough Call....I dig the black, but your red didn't look bad either. I need to paint mine black, but that's because I have the cheesy looking shiny crap.

I like it, but like the colormatched too. Im in a similar issue with mine, my grille is colormatched but I plastidipped over it long ago. Now that Ive added a few things Im starting to wonder if I should peel the dip off.

If I were you Id rock it like that a little while and see if it grows on you. If not swap back. Im no help at all am I? Haha

I dig the black grill. Too many options! I think the black adds a little bit of a ruggedness to it. Makes the front end stand out more too!

I was thinking about maybe doing the front bumper in bedliner and see if it blends in more. Its different so I'll roll with it for a while.
