Rear hatch rattle?

Anyone elses rear hatch rattling at the latch? Mine just started doing it and its driving me bonkers! Every bump i hit it rattles like hell. It's pretty loud too. Anyone have a solution? I've checked all the rubber gaskets and everything seems to be okey. I don't know what to do...

Try tightening the lift shocks and/or the hinges.

Checked the hinges. I wouldn't think the shocks could be the problem, but its an idea. When its shut and you push in on the door the latch rattles. It's loose somehow. Dosent look like there's anyway to adjust it

Mine rattles only when off road and on hard bumps or jolts. It used to rattle just on the street, but i tightened everything down (shocks mainly) and it settled down some.

Not sure what the issue is on yours, but good luck.

Just turn the radio up!

Try wrapping electrical tape around the latch pin. Also check to interior trim piece on the door, sometimes that comes loose. Is your spare still back there? If so double check that.

My latch/locking mechanism rattles like crazy. I've gotten used to it though. My sub really sets it off

I just started to encounter the same noise! It's driving me up the wall so i'm going to try and tighten the said bolts. Another issues I found was inside those storage compartments (where the stock spare tire should be), I found a plug for something that kept hitting the side of the vehicle everytime I turned hard or hit a good size bump.
