Thumbs up REAL projectors, not ebay junk

I've just been lurking on here recently. picked up a xj a few weeks ago to replace my totaled zj that got hit.
anyway first thing i noticed is the lighting on these SUCKS. wanted to go projectors and hids. didn't want to just use regular h4 housings n a kit since i don't want to blind people and want clean cutoff line. obviously those ones on ebay are fake junk.

anyway i started thinking, my mr2 (weekend/500hp racecar) has sealed beams too. theres a company who makes REAL projectors for it. so i looked around n found they use the same ****ty sealed beams.

so these real projectors SHOULD drop straight in without a single issue. worse for worse i'll throw em in the racecar. they are a lil pricy but I'm scooping some up locally second-hand for a good price today and will try to install them tomorrow.

there is a link to the parts and where you can order.

welll they don't line up completely like the stock sealed beam.

they are alot deeper and bottom out against hte sheet metal and stick out about half an inch. easy fix though. i dug through some bolts and screws and just found some screws that are about 3/4" longer.

Oh. Wow. Guess I know what I'm going to do about my worthless headlights now....

What lights exactly did you end up getting? Such a long list of options....

I'm assuming the first ones?

i actually found them locally and decided to give them a shot since if they didn't fit i had another car i knew they'd go right into.

There's 2 different light op0tions, with halos or without. Mine are without, so yea the first ones. Then the other options are all the different bulbs and/or HIDs and mine have 6000k HIDS in them.

I spoke to the vendor/manufacturer and he said he'll do the headlight housings for $175 and then a full HID kit for them for just $99 more!

I'm sending the manufacturer/vendor of these a sample of the screw i used so he can stock up on them. If you are ordering them for your jeep include that in the note and he will throw in 8 screws that you need to make these work perfect.

does the guy you got them from have a website?? seems like $175 + $99 is cheaper than the $400 that website wants . . .

If i had more money to throw around on lights id consider gettin these. Cause that cutoff and brightness looks amazing in pictures. Im happy with my (crappy compared to these) h4's though. Although i might get hid's eventually lol. Good find.
