i think ravines along with moabs are the nicest wheels jeep ever made.

i think my jeep looks damn good with ravines, but feel free to correct me

ravines never came stock on XJs.

Yeah those look sick. I love the look of stock Jeep rims on built XJs.

The ZJ canyons are 15x7 IIRC, and the TJ are 15x8(I know for sure on this)

Yep that looks great. One of my favorite "stock" jeep wheels for sure.

With totally different backspacing, its kind of meaningless to compare the two other than just looks. Unless of course the OP is going to run wheel spacers.

Search around. Jegs.com has 4 D-window wheels 15x8 with 4" backspace for $230 shipped. That makes the decision easy.

Edit: Summitracing.com has the same wheels 5 for $250 shipped: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-3975812/
The choice is now even easier.

Ravines FTW. I love factory wheels for some odd reason. I want some Moabs in the future.

I like the ravines on an XJ, I think they look very sharp. I had Icons, but liked the look of the black non-stock wheels better. Opted for a set of the Soft 8 as I got 5 shipped for free and D Windows were going to be uber expensive to ship at the time.

Love the Soft 8... which we should change the name to Gnar 8 or EXTREME 8 or maybe Hard 8?

Either way, both wheels look nice on an XJ, but you will likely need wheel spacers with the ravines depending on the rubber you run on them.

Gnar 8

Stock Icons

I have the Icons and I tried out the D windows for a while. The steelies were just too heavy. Wouldn't accelerate like it did with the Icons.

I don't like the crager wheels, but If I had to get one it would be the V5's not the soft 8s for sure, D-windows are second the the crager list for me. I am a big fan of the stock [style] Jeep wheels. Icons, Ravines, Moabs whatever (even my stock steelies), they are all better IMO than any aftermarket wheel. I think all the aftermarket wheels I have seen are either too industrial, or too showy.

BS wise on cragers, you can get them in pretty much any BS you want, if where your shopping only has one BS, look somewhere else. And if your looking more than 50-60 a wheel on the soft-8s, d-windows, or v-5s your looking in the wrong place.
