I was just wondering what the rarest colors were for the xj. Mine is sienna pearlcoat and i dont see too many around in that color. Only one in my area with that color besides mine.

Around Austin and only around Austin I see burnt orange ones. I've also seen 1 or 2 turquoise xjs in and around Oklahoma. I guess they colored the XJs region specific???

There's a yellow '97 up on a lot near me...really clean. A buddy had a purple 95. I swore it was a repaint, but everywhere you looked, the color was purple (door jambs, inside hood, fenders, under door panels, etc.)

Moss Green Pearlcoat. I love how it has so many different shades depending on the amount of sun hitting it. Goes from a dark deep green to a brighter green in sunlight

IMO the rare colors are the Sienna, and that Pale Green (dont know the name) that they used in 2000. Also the purple is rare as well. Yellow and orange are the rarest of them all. If I recall, a member here said they only made only 700 or so orange XJ's.

The orange has the funny name "Amber Fire" and I'm not sure of the yellow name.

Those two are the ones that come to mind for rare colors.

I've seen a yellow one or two around my area, but don't think I've ever seen orange.

Now white, that's a rare color...
