Project UP - 93 XJ

Hi all - Thanks for indulging me with documenting the progress with my "new" ride. Its my third Jeep product, previously owning a full size late 70s Cherokee and an old pick up. I picked it up for $500.00 due to it needing a trans and exhaust. It looks all stock except for the wheels and a respray.

The hood has some lousy paint - This will be the "winter hood" which I'll paint all flat black except the negative space in the center, which is of course red. I'll pick up a used hood and put some louvers in it and use it in the summer.

Out with the old, in with the old. Picked up a used transmission - fingers crossed.

I've never documented progress like this....should be cool.

A better flowing exhaust, 3" lift, locking equipment drawer in the back, sliders, bumpers, hoods mentioned above, tint, a Ram-Mount for I-Pad to keep the passenger occupied and navigation, roof rack.

I'd like one of the bumper mounted spare tire carriers, but $$$$$$ and I don't weld / fabricate unfortunately.

Thats 'bout all I can think of off the top of my head other than maintenance issues like brakes. Im sure there a few more things that will find their way on the rig.

Any suggestions for it ?
